The Story

Sculpture shaped by the sea

Eden Anthony is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice centers on marine life—translating reef textures, sea anemones, and ocean ecosystems into sculptural form. Rooted in time spent at the beach as a place of reflection, her work leans into organic pattern, tactile detail, and the quiet intensity of living structures.

Her recent exhibitions trace a deepening relationship to these oceanic themes: Ebb & Flow (February 2024) presented a body of work inspired by marine organisms, while The Final Reef (April 2025) turns directly toward coral bleaching—treating sculpture as both elegy and call to attention. Through this lens, Eden uses material, texture, and repetition to spotlight what coral reefs make possible—and what is at risk if they disappear.
